What does this experience include?
The half day Band is a great way to get your band into the studio. Record cover versions or your own material.
Use the studio and producer to get your band professionally onto CD
- Presented in a beautiful presentation tin for each band member
- Enough time to record and mix 1-2 songs
- Work with our producer to create a great sounding live recording
- Use the studio to enhance your performance
- Get a photo taken of the band for your CD cover
- Each band member receives a Photo CD and 1 extra plain CD
- Mixdown your CD with your producer and take it home that very day!
- This experience lasts for 4 hours
- Voucher valid for 12 months
- Suitable for bands with up to 5 members
What will happen on the day?
When you arrive at the studio your engineer/producer will show you around the studio and briefly explain the recording process.
Once you are comfortable we can then get the microphones set up around you and your instrument
Your first few attempts are usually just to get warmed up, then we will go for a few takes. We can record multiple takes and edit between them to make sure that we get the best recording on your final CD.
If there are still parts of the song that could be better then we can help by changing the timing, pitch, tuning, volume, there is lots that we can do with our equipment.
Once the song is sounding great we can then mix and master the recording ready to be burnt to CD for you to take away with you after posing for your photo for your CD cover.
